Dawn is a born and raised Albertan with a close-knit family living in Calgary & Central Alberta. Dawn moved to Grande Prairie in the fall of 2004 and like everyone that comes here was going to stay for a couple of years and has made Grande Prairie her permanent home. Besides the work that Dawn does for the foundation she is a member of The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie and is a Past President of that club. You might find her serving burgers with their BBQ crew or helping to clean garbage during Greenathon.

When not helping in the community Dawn enjoys any outdoor activity from hiking, waterskiing, snowshoeing to skiing in the mountains. However, travel is what calls to Dawn the most having been fortunate to visit or live in several countries already and several more to visit on her travel bucket list.
