“Ongoing advocacy in Grande Prairie and the north for health services of any kind is important for the people and businesses alike in our region. Having access to quality health care facilities and health care professionals is essential in creating physically, and mentally well residents and workforce of our region. The impacts socially and economically are immense when there are delayed or unavailable services in our region. As a frequent user of health services not available in our area, I have directly seen the impacts to family and work life. I am grateful for the opportunity to help advocate for quality services and infrastructure to be provided by our hospital and regional health care system.”
