Christine is the Administration Officer and has a long history of working in the charitable sector. She is originally from Stratford, Ontario and moved to Grande Prairie to be closer to family. She feels fortunate to have lived and worked in many cities and towns across Canada and internationally, and is thrilled to continue working in the non-profit sector in Grand Prairie.

Chris started in the world of non-profits when she was 15 at the YMCA in Stratford.  The communal embodiment celebrating family, helping, learning, camaraderie and mentoring was felt immediately and is what continues to drive her passion in the non-profit industry. Change, multi-task, humble, amazement, laughter and support are more than words – they are her every day, and what makes working for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation exciting and fulfilling.

Chris takes inspiration from many different areas of life; whether it’s words of wisdom from one of her daughters or granddaughters, a quote from a book, the feel of a piece of art, or watching and listening to others, there’s always something to learn and incorporate into her daily life. She loves to travel, explore, read and, of course, spend time with family and friends.  Warm temperatures, sun, sand, sea, snorkeling and relaxing afterwards is an ideal day for her.
