Cares for Kids Radiothon: keeping our kids close
This year 104.7 2day FM Cares For Kids Radiothon: keeping our kids close is raising money to purchase an Olympic Brainz Monitor. This is a picture of min-mighty-philanthropist Elizabeth with 2day FM’s very own Kyle Evans, giving her donation on June 3rd. That day alone, you helped raise $23,140.30! Thank you!
If you missed us at Canadian Tire or the Prairie Mall on June 3rd, don’t worry, we are not done yet…

To date, you have helped 2day FM’s Radiothon, combined with their annual Father Daughter Ball, raise more than $225,000 for your local hospitals!
With these funds, we have been able to purchase some much-needed equipment, including an infant cardiac monitor, incubator, twin cribs, and nursing care simulators. We have been able to do this thanks to the generous ongoing support from sponsors.
This year 104.7 2day FM Cares For Kids Radiothon: keeping our kids close was live Thursday, June 3, 2021. They are raising money to purchase an Olympic Brainz Monitor. This equipment is used to monitor brain function in babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), particularly for the presence of seizure activity. It will allow for neonatologists in Edmonton to see the monitor in real-time in order to help make treatment decisions in consultation with our local pediatricians.
Thank you! Your support has become the rest of so many stories…
